The Jopher, IAHPERD Journal

The IAHPERD Journal, the Jopher, is dedicated to provided pertinent and valuable information to its members in the professions of

Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. We encourage professional and students to submit articles to benefit others in the

field. The Jopher is an annual publication and is mailed to all IAHPERD members during the spring.

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Submitting Articles

All articles must be submitted on computer disk using IBM Microsoft WORD format or sent via email as an attachment. If sending the

article on computer disk, make sure the disk is labeled with your name and title of the paper, and include a hard copy of the article.

Article Presentation

1. Include your name, professional title, address, phone number, and e-mail with your article

submission.

2. Number the pages of your article.

3. List all references for your article.

4. Include a short biography of yourself. This is an introduction to the reader about you and your

background. You also may submit

a photograph of yourself.

5. You are encouraged to include photographs and/or clip art with your articles. The images should be

clear and sharp.

Publication:

Articles are published in the Newsletter in December and The Jopher in April. Please send any articles for the Newsletter by

November 1st and by March 1st for the Journal.
