Serving over 800 students within the College of Health Sciences,
the Department of Kinesiology hosts:

Mission Statement of the Department of Kinesiology
The department provides comprehensive undergraduate and graduate degree programs that incorporate scientific and professional methods of inquiry to study physical activity, exercise, sport, and health-related issues; advances the body of knowledge through scholarly inquiry; and offers a wide-range of fitness and sport activities that help promote lifelong well-being.
“Be Bronco Healthy” at the Boise State Health Fair on
Wednesday November 19, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The 18th Annual Boise State Health fair is in the Student Union Jordan Ballroom, is free, and open to the public.
The Boise State University health promotion students present the fair; this interactive event includes a variety of exhibitors providing information on multiple aspects of health, nutrition, fitness, mental health, alternative medicine, stress reduction, time management, and financial planning.
Come take part in free health screenings including fitness, hearing, vision, HIV, blood pressure, cholesterol, and Pharmacy Take-back. Flu shots are free with insurance or $25 cash.
Pharmacy Take-back provides a secure, environmentally safe, non-judgmental, and non-reportable method to dispose of unwanted, unneeded, and/or expired medications and drugs.
We have 70 exhibitors including the Cooking Matters team from the Idaho Foodbank, Blue Cross of Idaho, Tree City Juice, Central District Health, American Red Cross, Costco, United Dairymen of Idaho, Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance, Boise Bike Share, Primary Health, Shu’s Idaho Running Company, and Your Health Idaho.
